Fall Events Near Wesley Trevento Apartments in Lithia Springs and Douglasville

Fall in Lithia Springs means cooler mornings at Sweetwater Creek State Park and easy trips into Douglasville for festivals, concerts, and Halloween traditions. Wesley Trevento Apartments sits at 2750 Skyview Drive, just minutes from the park and close enough to Downtown Douglasville to make both towns feel like home. Here is a look at what is happening this September, October, and November, all close enough to make for an easy night or weekend out.

September Near Wesley Trevento

September opens quietly with the Native Forest Restoration Eco-Stewards Program at Sweetwater Creek State Park on September 13, a hands on volunteer morning with EcoAddendum focused on restoring the park's natural landscape, just minutes from Wesley Trevento. Over in Douglasville, the Church St Farmers Market wraps up its season with weekly Tuesday markets from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. through September 29 at the Douglasville Town Green next to the GreyStone Amphitheater.

October Near Wesley Trevento

October is the busiest month in both directions. Right at the park, Fall Field Day brings games, food vendors, and live music to Sweetwater Creek State Park on Saturday, October 3, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The same day, the Douglasville Police Department hosts its Fall Festival and Safety Expo at the Douglasville Municipal Complex on Fairburn Road, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a touch a truck display, a K9 demonstration, and a costume contest. The following weekend, country artist Jo Dee Messina takes the stage at GreyStone Amphitheater on Saturday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m. The month wraps up with Trunk or Treat on Main Street on Friday, October 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Old Police Precinct on Church Street, where downtown businesses hand out candy alongside a bounce house and a mobile arcade.

November Near Wesley Trevento

As the calendar turns to November, Douglas County typically holds its annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Douglasville to honor local veterans, a tradition worth checking the Douglas County Travel and Tourism calendar for as the date is confirmed each year. It is also a good month to slow down at Sweetwater Creek State Park itself, where cooler air and turning leaves make the fifteen miles of trails along the creek especially worth the short trip from home.
